New Norway Pastoral Charge

Ministry Position

New Norway Pastoral Charge, a two point charge with churches in New Norway (Zion) and Ferintosh, is looking for a part-time minister (or student supply), 1/2 to 2/3 time. This is subject to category and experience.

They are multicultural, rural, warm, welcoming communities comprised of people of many age levels. New Norway is in close proximity to Camrose, Alberta (25 kms. south from Camrose) and 100 kms. southeast of Edmonton on Highway 21.

Responsibilities include: worship, special services, sacraments, pastoral care, confirmation, working with youth, and working within the community. It is preferred that the minister live in New Norway and be visible in the community.

Starting date for this position is July 1, 2010, but will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
