Celebration of Ministry

This year’s Celebration of Ministry will be held in Red Deer AB.  The banquet will be held on Saturday evening, June 1, 2013 at the Holiday Inn and Suites (Red Deer South), and the service will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Gaetz Memorial United Church, Red Deer. Tickets for the banquet are available from the Conference Office. For more information or to reserve banquet tickets, please contact the Conference office, 780-435-3995.


Save the Date: “Glad and Generous Hearts”

A three day worship service with devotions, community building and play!

November 1 (7 PM) to November 3 (noon) 2013 at Gaetz Memorial United Church in Red Deer.  This is a Mid-Triennium Event planned for (about) halfway between the Conference Meetings in 2012 and 2015. Registration and information packages have been sent to all the Presbyteries, and will also be included in the April resource mailing.


National Truth and Reconciliation Commission - Alberta Event

Alberta and Northwest Conference will host the National TRC Event at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton on March 27-30, 2014, and we encourage your support and participation in this event and at community hearings which will be held across Alberta this summer. A letter from our President, Rev. Sally Boyle, has been sent to congregations and presbyteries with information and outlining some events.
