EPIPHANY EXPLORATION:  Registration begins Aug. 15, 2014 for Epiphany Explorations 2015 at First Metropolitan United Church in Victoria, BC, January 22-25, 2015.

Large numbers of registrants from across the country enjoy the conference each year and get a welcome break from winter weather.  Information on the event is attached below.

Here are details for the January 2015 conference:

 

Epiphany Explorations 2015

 

When: Jan. 22-25, 2015

Where: First Metropolitan United Church, 932 Balmoral Rd., Victoria, BC, V8T 1A8

 

Cost: $275 early bird registration for full conference (before Nov. 30, 2014), $325 full conference registration, $30 per individual session, $150 for livestreaming registration (all prices in Canadian dollars)

 

Epiphany Explorations is an annual event which for many is the highlight of their faith journey each year. The event features four days of learning, laughter and music and participants have stated it offers “awe, inspiration, affirmation of gifts and insights and a progressive understanding of Christianity in the world.”

 

Presenters for January 2015 include:


         Gary Paterson, Moderator of the United Church of Canada, on the changing  church;

         Lois Wilson, former Moderator and former Senator, and University of Victoria  researcher Siobhan Chandler on the “spiritual but not religious” among us;

         Andrew Weaver, climate scientist and British Columbia MLA on the history  of the science behind climate change and the opportunities for innovation and  creativity;

         Peter Rollins, provocative writer and lecturer;

         David Felten, co-creator of the “Living the Questions” program and other  speakers, workshop and musical presenters.

 

There will be no post-conference event this time.
