minister to youth of all ages?
Was your faith nurtured at
summer camp?
This newly formed
position is an opportunity to combine both these passions!
This position will
be a full-time position that will seek to balance and complement the visions of
youth ministry in Red Deer Presbytery and that of Kasota East Camp.
The mission of the
camp is “to model a Christian lifestyle in an outdoor setting within a
community that promotes outreach, spiritual awareness, personal growth and
harmonious living.”
The core focus of
the youth ministry component is to continue the work of strengthening youth and
young adult ministries by supporting, equipping, and encouraging congregational
youth and young adults, as well as those who provide leadership to youth and
young adults.
The Director of
Camp and Youth Ministries will have:

Training
and experience with youth ministry within a

An
ability to live out his/her theology and spirituality and to inspire children
and youth.
3.
Commitment
to the vision for a sustainable youth presence and contribution across
presbytery.
